Story Summary
A fictional historical drama that begins when Lee Tae, the enemy of Sunjong who became king after the rebellion, ascends to the throne of Joseon.
With the help of Park Gye-won, Lee Tae's father deposed the king and his father became the new king of the dynasty. Lee Tae, who succeeded his father, became the next king. Lee Tae believes that any action can be justified to achieve his goals. He wants to rule as an absolute monarch, but 1st Vice-Premier Park Gye-won is against it. Park Gye-won is more powerful than the king.
Meanwhile, Yoo-jeong is the daughter of a noble family. Lee Tae considers her to be his wife. As a result, her family is embroiled in a power struggle in the royal family. Edit Synopsis
