SBS's series 'Demon' (2023) is a supernatural thriller series directed by Lee Jung Rim and written by Kim Eun Hee, starring Oh Jung Se, Kim Tae Ri and Hong Kyung.
It tells the story about a mysterious death and evil spirits that a woman constantly encounters, gradually transforming her into a different person. A folklore professor with special ability to see ghosts accidentally meets this woman and recognizes her demon that killed his own mother, while a police officer meets this woman and her professor and gets caught up in an unrealistic event.

The Demon Plot Summary
When the door to another world opens, a demon exists there. Ku San-young is possessed by one of those demons. Haesang Yeom can see the demon that captured Ku San-young. They seek to uncover the truth behind the mysterious death involving five sacred objects.
Ku San-young is busy working part-time during the day and studying to become a low-level civil servant at night. One day, she receives a keepsake left by her deceased father. After that, her mysterious death that surrounds her takes place. She finds herself slowly changing, too.
Yeom Hae Sang has a rich background. He is teaching Korean folklore at the university. From an early age, he had a special ability to see the demons of this world. He even watched his mother slain by the devil right before his eyes as a child. Yeom Hae-Sang meets Ku San-Young and faces the demon that killed his mother.
Lee Hong Sae is a lieutenant officer in the Violent Crimes Investigation Unit. He is only interested in furthering his career in the police department. He gets caught up in a mysterious case because of Ku San Young and the Yeom Hae Sang. Edit Synopsis
